Love will find a way

How many times have you loved someone?
Smiles and laughter, they were so much fun.

A cluster of emotions that you can`t explain,
Over whelmed feelings of joy and pain.

Making promises that you know you can`t keep,
The feeling of drowning, when you have fallen too deep.

Drifting in a fantasy, with only one lover,
Believing so strong, that you will never love another.

Holding their heart with a grip so tight,
Knowing in your heart that this love is so right.

Memories that you cherish, and times that you’ve spent,
Make you believe that your love`s heaven sent.

A love that is real with a flame that can burn.
Melting your soul, with no where to turn.

Passion and ectacsy, is what you have made,
Crushing your heart, when your love starts to fade.

The emotions of pain have consumed your heart,
Your life is in turmoil, and torn apart.

You begin to wonder how it went wrong?
But how could this be with a love so strong?

You start to think that there is no hope!
Wishing for death at the end of your rope!

Withdrawing in a world, like a tortoise in a shell,
Living each day in the dark depths of hell.

Resorting to thoughts that nothing makes sense,
Now with an attitude geared in defense.

Hoping tomorrow you will find inner peace,
Bitterness and anger, when will it cease?

Love cuts like a knife, piercing your soul,
Shaking your being, and taking its toll.

Guarding your heart, as solid as steel,
Time has a way of making it heal.

Time passes by, and you can`t trust no longer,
Building up walls and a fortress that’s stronger.

Missed opportunities, that have long passed by,
Alone and distant, and unable to try.

Your heart becomes hard, like the weight of a rock,
Keeping it protected and under a lock.

Time is the remedy of healing your wound,
Lifting you up and out of your tomb,

Slowly the sunshine finds a way in,
Creating a path for new love to begin.

Hoping this time, that this new love will last,
Trying to move on ,and forgetting the past.

Love is complex, and a gift that`s unique,
Love is special and full of mystique.

Love is a blessing, so keep this in mind,
Each love encountered is one of a kind.
